Sharp Wellington Branch Back in Business

SHARP WELLINGTON OFFICE RE-OPENS IN NEW EARTHQUAKE COMPLIANT BUILDING.

Wellington, Thursday, 9th March 2017, Sharp Corporation of New Zealand Limited officially reopened their Wellington Branch at 79 Taranaki St. The branch was relocated temporarily as a result of the November 2016 earthquake which rendered the building unsafe.

Sharp and the building owners Jepsen Trust moved quickly to ensure the damage was assessed, and necessary repairs undertaken to bring the building up to new earthquake compliance standards.

Andy Parry, Sharp’s Lower North Island Regional Manager says: “While we worked to reopen the branch as soon as possible, our main aim was to ensure the safety of our staff and clients.”

The building not only meets the new earthquake compliance standards, but the Sharp offices have also been refreshed and the latest technology has been put on display.
